Keys to Lead™ is an innovative leadership development program that is designed to teach the next generation of leaders to be able to nimbly adjust to complex, ambiguous situations and inspire others. The curriculum utilizes the Engineering Design process and Situational Leadership principles to educate and engage students.
Keys to Lead™ curriculum supports the following TRIO requirements:
· Information to acquaint youth with a range of career options
· Exposure to university faculty who conduct research
· Exposure to content to improve economic and workforce development literacy
Keys to Lead™ curriculum contains elements that meet the following Common Core Standards:
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.SL.1 – Prepare for and participate effectively in a range of conversations and collaborations with diverse partners, building on others’ ideas and expressing their own clearly and persuasively.
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.SL.2 – Integrate and evaluate information presented in diverse media and formats, including visually, quantitatively, and orally.
